"Isn't funny how day by day nothing changes, but when you look back everything is different." - CS Lewis, Prince Caspian
This quote keeps popping up lately in my life. We get wrapped up in our daily lives, our routine, and day to day things feel the same. But life is always shifting. All of sudden we're in a new phase, but there was no sign letting you know of a sharp turn; it's just been slowly curving right or left the whole time. One of those turns you can take your hands off the wheel for and steer with your knee while you sip your coffee or change the song.
Spring is trying to poke through here in Seattle. Actually spring is here in full force, we've just been spoiled by good weather the last couple years, and those of us who spent our childhood chanting "April shows bring May flowers" are quick to forget that this is actually a Seattle spring.
My point is, things are shifting, just as they always do, and if we stop and feel the rain on our face in the interim, we won't be shocked when "all of a sudden" it's summer, and we can finally wear off the shoulder dresses instead of rain coats.
This dress from Shein is going to be my summer staple. Super lightweight and comfortable, and the sleeves still leave room for layering.
