Whenever I travel to Europe, I picture myself wandering the streets, and in my head, it's in black and white. I don't know if it's because it has so much more history, or if there's just a romance about Europe that's missing from the states, but the way I see it, it's comes out black and white.
My wardrobe tends to lean that way too. I've simplified my style in the last year or so, and I used to be drawn to the bright statement pieces, and now I'm all about the minimalist style. When shopping for my trip to Germany coming up in October I almost wouldn't let myself buy anything but black. It goes with everything! And it's timeless. (I am my mother's daughter).
I have a bag labeled "Do Not Touch Til Germany", and I've actually been really good about leaving it alone, but exceptions can be made for the sake of the blog.
Every single one of these pieces fits the bill of my casual and comfortable travel style. I was so surprised at how comfortable these black pants were from Rag & Bone; you can't go wrong with a black t-shirt; and this coat I scored at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the perfect layer for the transition into fall.
