So, I know I said that everyone has the same amount of hours in a day as Beyoncé. That's still true, but it also dawned on me that she has people who can do things for her while she does things like sleep. When I go to sleep, no one's going to be writing the blog posts I've been neglecting, or keep up with Twitter, or edit my vlog. And I don't really want them to. I've signed myself up for quite a bit, but I'm also having so much fun with all of this. Part of life is creating opportunities for yourself. I missed video editing and was sort of sitting here waiting for a way to incorporate that back into my life, and then woke up one day and said, "I'll make a way to include this back in my life," and thus, the vlog was born.
Have I even officially announced the vlog in my blog? In a nutshell: I'm filming my life. Not waking up and brushing my teeth and making my eggs in the morning, but the fun parts, or interesting parts pertaining to work, or weekends with friends and family, and travel. Then on a weekly basis, compiling all the footage into something semi-comprehensible and hopefully fun to watch. Go to my YouTube channel, "like" it if you like what you see, "thumbs down" it if you don't, since YouTube is the only social media outlet that wants us to feel bad about ourselves, and Subscribe so you never miss a video. If there's something you want to see included, let me know!
Also, as you know, I broke my wrist about a month ago, which I said wasn't going to slow me down, but inevitably it was going to a little bit. Plus, pictures of me in a cast, just aren't really a good look (see below). But in less than one week, I get it off! I've never broken anything before, so at 28, it's been quite the pain in my a$$. But I see the light at the end of the tunnel.
