Something Old, Something New

This weekend I watched one of my oldest and dearest friends marry the love of her life. She was the first of my close high school/college group to walk down the aisle and it was beautiful and surreal. Watching her come around the corner with her parents in her white dress was almost an ethereal experience. To see her doing the thing we all have talked about ever since we can remember; the thing we giggled about at sleepovers, and shared many a bottle of wine talking was a very happy day.

I raided my sister's closet and found an old Ralph Lauren dress of my mom's, probably from the 80s or 90s. I was going to go out and buy a dress for the occasion, but sometimes its more fun to wear something old than something new.

(Please excuse the quality of the pictures. I only brought my phone with me, so this is what we're working with right now).

Cheers Mike and Mallory!
