I've gotten a few requests for the smoothie recipe I posted on Instagram this morning, so here it is:
1 banana (I like mine closer to green than too ripe, but that's your call)
1/2 large-medium avocado
3/4 cup vanilla almond milk
1 T almond butter
1 t honey
1/4 t cinnamon
Pinch of sea salt
6 ice cubes
Blend until smooth.
*Adding the ingredients in the order I've listed makes for easier blending also.
You can also freeze the banana (sans peel) and add less/no ice. And to be honest, I've never measured any of these ingredients, so try it once or twice and add or subtract to your liking/consistency.
This is a great breakfast or snack! I like to have a small breakfast, go to my workout, and come back and make one of these babies.
